Accident

Bike running, Mind running, Hand running, Heart running, Breathing running. Then I met with an accident. Bike broke, Mind broke, Hand broke, Heart broke, Breathing stopped. “How did you survive, and why?” my friend asked me. Bike repaired, Mind repaired, Hand repaired, Heart repaired, Breathing running again. I laughed. “It’s a maze, be careful.” Because again, Bike running, Mind running, Hand running, Heart running, Breathing running. I met with an accident. Same road. Same speed. Same silence before impact. I hope this time it’s the last. - Vishwanath

The Shout

I shouted very hard Not for others to listen But for me to hear, I shouted Sitting in a hospital bed, thinking what will happen next. Cut to Sitting in an office, looking at books and politics. Cut to Sitting at home, seeing how much of a failure you are as a son. Cut to Sitting with your partner and telling her to go. Cut to Sitting alone on a beach, thinking about the friends I lost. Cut to Making a suicide attempt and living like a dead body. Cut to Drinking until I am sleeping on a footpath. Cut to Sleeping and waking from a strange dream. Cut to Saving myself from snake bites. Cut to Trying to stay positive, thinking this phase will pass. I shouted very hard Not for others to listen But for me to hear, I shouted I hope this time you will hear me, or maybe I will hear myself. - Vishwanath

Remembering You

Dear Love, I am sitting again, To write about you. You once told me To write something in Marathi But today, I'm expressing it as it comes. Two years ago, You met me, And filled my life with hope. With you, I understood happiness and love, Things I had never known before. The care you gave, The warmth you held, Helped me heal, Day by day, Making me feel better. You knew all my scars, All my wounds, And you were my medicine. Whenever my heart and mind felt heavy, You held me close Protecting me, Like a shield. The days were up and down, But still, You chose me. I always wanted To stay close to you, Cling to you, Hug you, And spend endless time With you. I wish I could pause time, Just to be with you, Safe, In my home. I always pray For your health, And hope you’ll be fine. I hope to receive The same love from you, And yes, I want to grow older with you, Together and forever. -  Vishwanath

To My Love

Yeah, I started writing again, The reason? You’re traveling far. I know it's hard to convey, But our love, a poem can’t hold it all. Getting up now feels boring, I miss our talks in the early morning. The bike rides have become tiring, No one’s behind me, grumbling, inspiring. Evening tea feels so dull, I miss the one who made it whole. I know, I know, you think I prioritize work, But it’s not true, you’re always my first. Sometimes your mind feels heavy, And I wish to be the shoulder you can lean on, steady. Sometimes silence fills the space, But I’ll still be with you, no matter the pace. I love our talks, and you love mine, Without them, I fall quiet, missing the time. I hope wherever you are, you’re safe, Happy, and always well, by God's grace. But I miss your laughter, that spark in your eyes, The way you make the ordinary day feel like a surprise. The silence is louder now without you near, Even the wind whispers seem to carry some fear. Still, I trust that love, the da...

To My Eternal Poem

I thought writing about you,  Yes, my love, about you. I used to write poems before we met,  Before I could truly understand love. Now that I have met you, you are my poem  A spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings I hold onto. You are my moon, my star, my sun,  The light that guides me through the darkest times. With you, I feel safe, secure, and blessed,  With less stress and no pretense, wrapped in your comforting embrace. You make things easier, better; your care  Makes me feel strong, physically, mentally, and emotionally. You are the person I can cry on,  A person with whom I can laugh endlessly,  A person to whom I can show my passion and express myself freely. You are like the ocean, charming and beautiful  Making me feel peaceful in your embrace,  Completing the puzzle of my heart with your endless love. I wonder how, among thousands of people,  I met you and found a friend, a soulmate.  I am grateful to God f...

Leave

I wrote an email to my manager and came to the office for a meeting. She asked what happened. I said: I want leave from stress, from worries, from the noise that follows me. I want leave from my job, from the version of me it keeps. I want leave to repair my bike, to repair my mind. I want leave to meet a doctor, and leave to run from the hospital. I want leave to fly in the sky, to disappear underground. I want leave to be happy, to be kind without trying. I want leave from the rat race, leave to read, to write, to meet a friend who still knows me. I want leave to cry, to laugh without reason. I want leave from life, from death just for a while. Yes, I want a leave. Will you approve it? She said:  you need to take it And no one knows how to give it. I laughed because she didn't understand the reason.. So I just asked: And will you take leave for yourself? I am writing for both of us before life becomes unpredictable. I want leave to be fine. - Vishwanath

Run

Run, the mind said to me, although I don’t know where to go. Maybe I am too tired, or just lazy, or maybe I don’t have the energy. Through a forest of cement and worries in my head, I decided to run. Run for life, run to live yet I stand still, imagining I am running. They say they can see me run, though I don’t know who “they” are. But the question remains, will I run? - Vishwanath

Word's

The words are gonna fly, fly to the sky. I hope you rest till they come back to you. I hope you wait for me to return. Although I am not flying, the words are. I hope they won’t hurt, and I hope they survive. As I breathe slowly and gradually fall asleep, life moves on through you, and I don’t know where I am. - Vishwanath

It's a Matrix

I shouted till my voice turned thin, just to reach you through the noise “It’s a matrix,” I said, this life we’re living in. Oh dear, I hope you’re okay, still dreaming, still unaware it’s a matrix, this world we wear. - Vishwanath

Broken hand

Why don’t you message me now? You texted that you’ve been curious. Me, hiding the pain pain that won’t reach her. It’s difficult to tell how to unlove someone and run. I thought I didn’t want to learn it.  Hopefully, you didn’t too. Reality hits, and things are far. I am dying today, and tomorrow feels far. I don’t know why I am writing this. I don’t know if it’s a poem. I search for an escape to live, for God to answer my prayer. I wait for you to return, for love to nurture, and for us to be together. I don’t have any reason to tell I don’t know what to say. I just type, with tears falling apart, like keeping the moon and sun apart. I have a broken hand. I hope you understand it. — Vishwanath
